Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:2
Everyone has a cross they must bear but you know what, the cross is not just a pain its a purpose.
Jesus did not come to the earth to die on the cross, he came to save humanity from the claws of sin but it was expedient that he dies to do this.
Joseph was not born for prison in Egypt, it was just a road he had to pass in being a leader in Egypt, and he had to be a leader not just for himself but to be the preserver of his family, his generation and God’s people at large.
An omission of one individual becomes a commission for another generation, Saul spared Agag and Haman became a descent of Agag that disturbed the whole Jews in diaspora in the time of Mordecai and Esther. So be keen at fulfilling your purpose, even if it appears as all pains, be rest assured it is loaded with plenteous gains.
Joseph was a forerunner of Jesus, if the whole Israel was wiped out, from whence would Jesus had come?
Esther also was the instrument used to preserve the lives of the Jews, she actually became a queen to be a preserver. Now you see the cross you have to bear is a purpose you need to fulfill, and never forget that your purpose is transgenerational.
